I was digging through my mom's old film SLR camera bag, and I found, along with a shnazzy old camera, an external flash and an orange square of glass (that some may call a filter). Can you see the difference? The orange seemed to effect the shadows--and maybe the highlights--more than anything.

I had a hard time choosing today. I discovered how much of this coffee table is made of mirror, and started snapping.

I didn't have many other pictures because most of the day was taken up by a trip to a huge outlet mall, which claims to have over 140 stores. I got sunglasses finally! :)

This next one is an abstract shot of some wooden grass-like decoration, the next, if you look closely, is never ending (sadly it turned out blurry :P)!! The pink glasses are Marcella's.

Playing on the beach today!

My kite works mighty fine on the beach, compared to my neighborhood park.

And one of those little suckers got me on the foot (a small sting).

Also: Marcella cut a couple inches off my hair last night (she's cutting more than that from Christina's head now), and I am burned everywhere possible while wearing a tank top and shorts, especially behind the knees and on the ears.

Stopped in San Antonio and saw the Alamo again-- that was my project week topic.

The riverwalk has some cool stairs, which I tried to capture, and of course a classic ice cream mustache (look closer!).

Driving most of the day again. Made it to Austin today.
